Welcome to Santiago Tuxtla, a small city and municipality located in the Los Tuxtlas region of southern Veracruz, Mexico. Founded in 1525, the city has a rich history and is home to several unique traditions and celebrations. The city center is centered on a large square called Parque Juarez, which contains the largest of the Olmec colossal heads in Mexico, La Corbata.
