Ardestan, also known as Ardestān and Ardistān, is a city located in Isfahan Province, Iran. Ardestan is also known for its orchards which produce Mulberry, pomegranate and a special kind of fig that are the main orchard products of the town. The town has produced several notable people such as Shia Clerics Mustafa Tabataba’inejhad and Yousef Tabatabai Nejad.

Ardestan has a hot desert climate (Köppen: BWh) and experiences low precipitation. The best time to visit the city is during winter or spring when the temperature is mild and pleasant.
