The temple is managed by a Panch Committee, and daily rituals include Kakada Arti, Nitya Puja, Mahapuja in the morning, Dhuparti in the evening, and Shejarti in the night. A large number of devotees visit during the Chaitri, Maghi, Aashadi, and Kartiki (Hindu Months) Ekadashi. During the Aashadi and Kartiki Ekadashi, a large procession is taken out covering the town with Bhagvant riding on Garuda. A CHABINA is taken out on every full moon day.
Barshi is also well-known in the region for its educational institutions, with many nearby districts and tehsils depending on these facilities. The city has a variety of primary and high schools, as well as junior and senior colleges, serving the higher educational needs of the town and surrounding region. Recently, renowned educationalist Dr. Vishwanath Karad announced his plans to establish a state-of-the-art medical institution in the city, as well as India’s first private engineering college dedicated to the railway sector from 2017-18.

The Jagdale Mama Hospital is the biggest hospital in Barshi, with newer hospitals like Shraddha Hospital being one of the biggest and most advanced private sector multispeciality hospitals in the city. Barshi is well-connected by road and rail, with the NH65 and NH52 connecting the city to major destinations. The city is also connected by railways with Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Baramati, Pandharpur, Bidar, Nanded, and Latur. The Barsi Town (BTW) Railway Station is the main railway station in the city.
